Introducing DevStudioBuilder
Business software has a strange economics problem: an ERP, a point of sale or an HR system is 80% the same as the last one — entities, screens, workflows, reports — yet every team rebuilds that 80% by hand, again and again.
Low-code platforms promised to fix this, and then created a new problem: your application lives inside someone else's runtime, versioned by someone else's server, priced per deployed user. The faster you build, the deeper the lock-in.
A different contract
DevStudioBuilder starts from a different contract with the developer:
- Templates do the 80%. Production-grade templates — point of sale, school management, HR, invoicing — generate complete, working applications you then customize screen by screen.
- Git is the source of truth. Projects are deterministic files in a normal repository. Branch, diff, review, merge.
- The code is yours. Generation produces readable, idiomatic Go and standard SQL. Export at any time, deploy anywhere, no runtime fees.
Where we are
The studio — ERD, UI Designer, workflow editor, Test Lab, Git integration, reports and an approval-gated AI assistant — is in active development, with the RetailPOS flagship template already counting 98 real screens.
The free 14-day trial opens with the beta. If you build business software for a living — especially if you build it with WinDev today — the tour starts here.
